For die-sinking EDM, the requirements for an efficient dielectric are the following: top machining speed, best surface results, optimum dielectric strength, minimum electrode wear, neutral odour as well as low contents of aromatics and not hazardous to health. Expert knowledge is particularly required in this context to achieve more ignitions per unit and, consequently, shorter erosion times.
Grinding Oils

When grinding with low to medium grinding wheel speeds, cooling of the process is normally the most important aspect. The products mainly used are coolant solutions and emulsions. When a higher chipping volume in a certain period is needed, coolants with friction-reducing characteristics, i.e. non water-soluble coolants, are used. To achieve the economic goal of reduced operating costs, a considerably more complex situation has to be assessed. In this case, the parameters lubricating, cooling, cleaning, flushing and reducing corrosion have also to be considered.
Stamping and forming oils

Whether fine blanking various steel qualities or stamping and deep drawing from the coil: Highest efficiency is defined as high cutting performance and surface quality, i.e. absolute precision in high-speed presses, for example. Cutting oils

These non water-soluble coolants are used to optimise chip removal processes. They are used when focus is on lubrication. Cutting oils have special additives that facilitate adhering to surfaces or reaching a high pressure stability. Low-viscosity cutting oils are usually used for honing and grinding, medium-viscosity oils for drilling, turning and milling and oils with higher viscosities for difficult machining processes, such as broaching. The base oils of the esgemo product range were particularly chosen with regard to low emissions. On the one hand, this avoids health hazards to users, on the other hand, a higher cost-effectiveness is achieved by lower evaporation.

Water-soluble coolants

Always the right mix! Our water-soluble coolants are the optimum product for each application. Their basic ingredients are of top quality. Of course, this entire product range complies with the German technical guideline for the handling of hazardous materials (TRGS 611). We also offer you perfectly tailored coolants, free from amine, boron or mineral oil, of course also suitable for brass and hard metal and adapted to each water hardness.
